Leif Ljungholm has acted as bankruptcy administrator in some of Sweden’s most comprehensive bankruptcies in the finance, construction, airline, news media and medical research sectors. He has also been defence counsel in a number of major so-called economic (white collar) criminal cases that have involved both municipalities and listed companies. Leif Ljungholm has had many positions of trust in the Swedish Bar Association, e.g. member of the Main Board 1988-1994, President 1996-1999 and he is member of the Disciplinary Committee since 2010. Member of the IBA Council 1997-2000. Board member of the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (RWI) 2000-2012, board member of Emil Heijnes Stiftelse för rättsvetenskaplig forskning since 2003 and he was member of the Press Council 2011-2017.
