Corporate legislation forms the basis of business law, being the area that regulates the systematic functioning of a company as a legal entity. Our day-to-day work deals with issues that concern different types of corporations such as limited companies, trading companies and limited partnerships.

Glimstedt’s lawyers will assist with the creation of new companies, capital procurement and ownership issues, such as shareholders’ agreements and succession matters. Our lawyers regularly assist both sellers and buyers in connection with business transfers in national as well as international transactions, where corporate legislation forms a central part of the negotiated agreements. We are frequently appointed to act as chairpersons or secretaries at company general meetings where important matters are on the agenda. Corporate legislation is also largely the area in which our lawyers assist in dispute resolution, either in court or during arbitration proceedings.
